SIN, GREED, EVIL & MORE – REVEALED IN THE NEW BOOK BY PASTOR C. REGI RODGERS!

HOLY SPIRIT TOLD HIM TO GO WEST!

ATLANTA, GA – September 14, 2010 – There has always been a ‘street game’. But rarely does anyone divulge the ‘church game’. Now, comes a man armed and dangerous with the candid experiences of such and more in his latest book. C. Regi Rodgers, Pastor, Husband, Humanitarian, Author, reveals a dark side of his life from being a Preacher’s kid to a turbulent young adult trapped by drugs and sex, before coming out of the closet of sin, greed and evil.

“We don’t have to be taught to be bad, we just inherit that, says Rodgers. But we do have to be taught to be good.” In his book, “Pla-ya 2 Pra-ya”, Rodgers speaks clearly and in a way that every man can understand how he want from ‘player’ to a ‘prayer’.

“If we get a praying church, we have a powerful church,” he delivers. And a powerful punch comes through in his unique story. Rodgers candidly expresses how by the time he was a teenager, he’d watched his brothers turn to drugs, have sex with every girl in their eyesights and even pimp girls. This inspired the young Rodgers as he would dare to be an even greater player than all his older brothers. He would succeed.

Growing up in California and moving to Pittsburgh and Philadelphia , the spirit told Rodgers to just head west and it landed him in Las Vegas , NV where he heads MANIFEST DESTINY MINISTRIES.

His father, the late Reverend Boyd E. Rodgers, a 40-year veteran, was as a pastor in. Alaska , Kentucky , California , Pittsburgh and Philadelphia .

GOLD-SELLING SHEKINAH GLORY MINISTRY USHERS IN AUTUMN WITH “JUST FOR ME”

Chicago-Based Gospel Ensemble Has Sold Millions of Records And Continues To Set The Standard For Praise and Worship Music

Chicago, IL: The gold-selling Shekinah Glory Ministry (SGM) has a new CD, Refreshed By Fire (Kingdom Records), hitting stores this Tuesday, September 14, 2010. The new album features the majestic ballad “Just For Me’ that just debuted at #22 on the Billboard Top Gospel Digital Songs chart and is building momentum on the corresponding radio airplay chart.

Alto-voiced LaTosca House co-wrote and led SGM’s 2007 smash “Jesus” which reached #5 and spent 29 weeks on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart. Now, House, who joined SGM in 2006, is back on the microphone for “Just For Me.” The song was recorded during a Standing Room Only live recording session this past May at Valley Kingdom Ministries International’s main sanctuary in Chicago.

Kingdom Records is a leader in African-American praise and worship music with hits such as Shekinah Glory Ministry’s 2001 breakthrough smash, “Praise is What I Do.” The million-selling SGM is not a choir. Instead, it’s a dynamic ensemble of psalmists, minstrels, and banner bearers who perform “under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. “ Their Hebrew name means “the glorified presence of God.” Their CDs Praise Is What I Do (#5 peak Top Gospel Albums) and Shekinah Glory Ministry Live (#3 peak Top Gospel Albums – 103 weeks on the chart) were both certified gold in 2005 and 2008 respectively. They also have three gold or platinum DVDs to their credit.

When asked what she attributes SGM’s success to,  House said, “We don’t mind showing ourselves. When I have the mic, it’s me and the Lord and where He takes me is where I go. We take our focus off people and allow God to take over. When we worship God, we shouldn’t let anybody hinder us from our praise. Our impact is that we are transparent, willing vessels.”

BISHOP DAVID G. EVANS’ ABUNDANT HARVEST ENTERTAINMENT IS ENJOYING AN ABUNDANT HARVEST OF HITS FOR EVERY SEASON OF LIFE

Lindenwold, NJ: Bishop David G. Evans’ Abundant Harvest Entertainment firm is enjoying a rich harvest of hits this fall. The independent recording label has three music projects on the market that have not only lived through a change in climatic seasons but also speak to listeners at various seasons of life.

The CD, Automatic Praise, was released in the fall of 2008 and tailor-made for those who like their praise and worship music with a spirited, old school Pentecostal fervor. The rousing foot stomper, “This Joy,” was written and led by Tracy Shy with the Abundant Harvest Choir. The song spent twenty weeks on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart and peaked at #20 before moving to the Top 10 on the Radio & Records Recurrent chart

Bishop Evans even has ear candy for romantics to chew on. His fifteen song album, Pure Love, is guaranteed to light sparks in the dullest of relationships. The current single “Change Me” (sung by Johnnie Vaughan) is a retro R&B slow drag that has spent six months on the charts. “Love is not just physical and emotional,” Evans cautions. “It is certainly a spiritual quality when it is right between two people. Much of what we hear on the radio today is not that kind of spiritual love. Real love, pure love, looks for the best and wants the best for those we love. It is time for music that speaks to our romantic interests without distorting the true meaning of love. That's what Pure Love is all about.”

Finally, Abundant Harvest has something for youth and the young at heart with Christawn’s inspirational Hip Hop CD, Life Story. His rock-edged radio single, “Save Me (featuring fiery tenor Micah Stampley on the hook),” is an autobiographical tale of God saving him from a potential prison sentence and his former life as a drug dealer. “Everyone I used to hang with is either dead or in prison, so I know God saved me for a reason,” Christawn says. MULTI-STELLAR AWARD WINNER AND DOVE AWARD NOMINEE JONATHAN NELSON TO RELEASE HIGHLY-ANTICIPATED SOPHOMORE CD BETTER DAYS

Ten Song Set of Positive Praise Music Due In Stores September 2010

Mobile, Ala. –  (July 1, 2010) Stellar Award winner Jonathan Nelson is gearing up for his sophomore Integrity Music CD, Better Days, in September 2010. The 10-song CD of divinely-inspired affirmations was produced by Grammy Award winning producer Aaron Lindsey (Israel and New Breed, Martha Munizzi, and Marvin Sapp).

Nelson has quickly emerged as one of the leading voices on today’s praise and worship music scene. Over the last half a dozen years, he’s put his stamp on urban praise music as the composer of now classic tunes such as Donald Lawrence’s “Healed,” Youth for Christ’s #1 smash “The Struggle Is Over,” and Bishop T.D. Jake’s “My Praise Is My Weapon.” Then, in 2008, Nelson stepped from the shadows to reveal himself as a charismatic worship leader with his Top 10 smash “My Name Is Victory” which spent an astounding 65 weeks on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart and won him a Dove Award nomination as Best New Artist of the Year.

There are bound to be just as many award nominations for Better Days this time next year. Recorded live at The Faith Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Nelson says that the new CD places him in a new place in terms of his musical message. “I moved from sophomore class to junior class with this CD,” Nelson says proudly. “The world needs to hear these proclamations. My Name is Victory was a great start but this new album is centered on the world to help change the world.”

A member of Nelson’s backing group, Purpose, James Johnson, brought the CD title song to his attention. “When he brought it to me it just spoke to me about what the project is about,” Nelson says. “We are living in a time of recession, earthquakes, oil spills. People need to hear a message of encouragement that better days are here.” From the Caribbean lilt of “Cry Holy” and the old school church runs on “Another Way” to the majestic congregational praise on “Smile,” the whole CD shines with messages of hope and encouragement through Jesus Christ.  “These are faith declarations,” Nelson adds. “Faith is the engine you use to speak things over your life. These are songs of faith, hope, and empowerment.”

As “Expect The Great,” the first radio single from Better Days, makes its way up the Billboard charts, Nelson is reflective on his place on today’s music scene. “I understand my responsibility as a worship leader all the more,” Nelson adds. “I have been given the assignment of writing lyrics that the people of God will sing over themselves and ultimately to God. If we sing to each other about his goodness, mercy, power, love and faith, we create an atmosphere for healing, miracles, signs and wonders. I've given my will completely to God! By faith, I now say yes to God.  I sincerely believe this CD is going to be monumental because many listeners will also say yes to God in every area of their life. Then, we all will truly experience better days!
