Rumors of the Death of Hip Hop Recording Artist Lil Eazy E are False

buzzz worthy. . .

Los Angeles, CA – Lil Eazy E, son of rap legend Eric “Eazy E” Wright was not killed.  Rumors have spread throughout the night, via blogs, entertainment websites, and various forums of social media that he was killed in a fatal car crash; however it was a family member that lost his life.

“My heart is heavy with grieve over the loss of my loved one.  I thank all of you for your sentiments and ask that you pray for my family as we deal with this very difficult and painful occurrence,” said Lil Eazy E.

Coroner Reveals Heavy D. Died of Blood Clot

A coroner's report has revealed the cause of Hip Hop legend Heavy D's death.  The report says deep vein trombosis, resulting in a blood clot traveling to his lung killed the "Overweight Lover." 

Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) are serious medical conditions that are often undiagnosed, but they are preventable, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
DVT occurs when a blood clot forms in a deep vein, usually in the lower leg, thigh or pelvis.

Sitiing for an extended period of time such as during travel is one of the ways a blood clot can form.

Heavy D had just returned from a trip to Europe.

TI Holmes Headed to BET

CNN anchor TI Holmes will be leaving the network for BET at the end of 2011. As the next election year approaches Holmes will be leading political news coverage for BET.  Holmes has an extensive, award-winning carerr in jornalism and recently hosted the Saturday edition of CNN Newsroom.

The deal with Holmes includes a new show on BET as well as content on BET.com in which he can bring his many talents to some of the most important and interesting stories to BET's audience, according to the network's annoucement.

"We are of course ecstatic to have T.J. Holmes coming to our fold. He's been an outstanding news anchor and we look forward to making him shine. He's been an outstanding news anchor and we look forward to working with him in a variety of new ways on BET," said Stephen G. Hill, President of Music Programming and Specials at BET Networks. "We look forward to weaving T.J.'s mixture of credibility and charisma into our fabric."
