Tyscot Records artist, JAVEN, officially releases new single, "Worshiper In Me," today, April 2nd

buzzz worthy. . .

LOS ANGELES (April 2, 2013) -- This is an exciting time for recording artist JAVEN with his recent signing at Tysot Records and also the debut of his new radio single "Worshiper In Me," which officially released everywhere today, Tuesday, April 2nd.  "Worshiper In Me" is a great lead single for his upcoming live album release, "Worship In The Now," which he describes as more than a project, but a movement.

Penned by JAVEN and Jonathan Nelson"Worshiper In Me" is a transparent worship song which lyrically and musically grabs your attention with its authenticity.  It's lyrics speak directly to the open, willing and submitted heart to come forth as a true worshiper of Christ.  As a singer, songwriter and worship leader, JAVEN through his own heart of submission, calls the worshiper to come forth through the lyrics, "With everything I have, I'm here finally; I'm calling forth the Worshipper in Me!"  As the song builds with intensity, JAVEN speaks directly to God laying it all on the line with the lyrics, "Freely I give you all of me, I give you my worship, my heart, my soul! I live and breathe you God, I live to give you Glory!"

One of the significant elements that stands out in "Worshiper In Me" is its common thread of worshiping God no matter who you are or where life has taken you.  JAVEN defines Worship and the core of the new single, "Worship is one of the most powerful weapons we possess to get through tough times. Many people forget to pull on the worshiper inside of them. I wrote this powerful song with my good friend Jonathan Nelson. I think it's the anthem for every believer facing hard times. Call forth the worshiper in you and see the power it will unleash on the enemy!"

Great things are in store for JAVEN and fans can look forward to to the release of his new live album, "Worship In the Now," which will be available everywhere on Tuesday, May 21st!

Leandria Johnson is wearing a wedding ring. . .

buzzz worthy. . .

Leandria Johnson is engaged.   .  . right?  After midnight, the Grammy winning gospel artist posted a brief "I said yes" video on Socialcam showing off a ring. "I said  yes.  Can you believe it Socialcam?. . the newness?"  We see the ring, the big smile and the gleam in her eye, but Johnson never says "I am getting married" or "I am engaged." A source close to the singer  informed me that marriage was in the plans with the father of her last child, Caelington who was born last September 12.    This could be the moment. We are awaiting confirmation of this "presumptive posting" from Johnson or an official party. We hope it is in fact an engagement announcement and wish the couple well.  If they are indeed tying the knot I will let you know when the church bells will be ringing.

Vicki Yohe to record new CD in Florida on April 9

buzzz worthy. . .

One of the Most Anticipated Praise Experiences of 2013 - The Event Is Free & Open To Public!

Over the last two decades, the dynamic Dove and Stellar Award nominee Vicki Yohe has been at the forefront of the praise and worship music movement on the church circuit where she turned songs such as “The Mercy Seat,” “Under The Blood” and “Something About My Praise,” into international anthems via her soul-stirring performances of the songs at mass evangelistic crusades all over the globe. Billboard Magazine says of Yohe’s ministry, “For believers looking to loose themselves in a wonderful worship experience, this is the next best thing to being in a pew.” Yohe’s ministry has even afforded her the opportunity to appear as a Keynote speaker at a Pentagon Prayer Breakfast. She has also ministered in song alongside some of today's well-known pastors and evangelists including Bill Winston, Juanita Bynum,  TD Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Darlene Bishop  and Paula White. A lot of artists sing about saving souls but Vicki Yohe is actually doing it. Not only is she raising two adopted sons but she’s also the spiritual mama to three dozen African children at an orphanage she founded in 2005 in Uganda, New Destiny for Children. “I’ve been nominated for several awards and ministered to 2.8 million people at a Benny Hinn crusade in India but none of this feels as good as taking care of my children in Uganda. Where does Yohe get the burst of energy to juggle her busy career, the demands of motherhood and raising money for the children’s home?  God’s Peace. Tuesday, April 9t, 2013, Vicki Yohe will hold one of the most anticipated and riveting praise experiences of 2013, when she appears at the FaithWorld Center in Orlando. During this special evening, Yohe will be recording her new CD and DVD Free Worshipper, anticipated for release on Shanachie Entertainment in August 2013. Vicki Yohe will reunite with celebrated recording artist and producer Kendall Duffie who produced her last two recordings Reveal Your Glory and I’m At Peace. Duffie has also produced, recorded and executive produced Stellar Award-winning artists such as Marvin Winans, Bishop Paul Morton, Evelyn Turrentine-Agee, as well as Maysa Leak and Mitchell Jones of Commissioned.
Born into a minister's family, Vicki wrote and sang her first song at the age of five and by 17 she entered bible school, and after two years, she accepted a Music Director's position near Baton Rouge, LA.  Vicki and her sister, Terri, were a teenage singing duo who traveled with their evangelizing father. Her musical influences included Tramaine Hawkins and Aretha Franklin. In 1992, she recorded her first project Everlasting Love which was followed by I Give You Love in 1995 and He Knows My Heart in 1997.  Christmas Presence was released in 2000 followed by Beyond This Song the following year. Upon meeting CeCe Winans at a television taping, the two artists discovered they were fans of each other’s music. Not long after, Winans signed Yohe as her first artist on her newly created PureSprings Gospel label.  The first project I Just Want You was a huge success off of the strength of the radio single, “Because of Who You Are,” it garnered nominations for both Dove and Stellar awards. Her second release from PureSprings, He’s Been Faithful. In 2009 Vickie Yohe made her critically acclaimed Shanachie Entertainment debut, Reveal Your Glory: Live from the Cathedralher first live recording, and the following year released her DVD of the same title (both recorded at the Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Atlanta, GA). 2011 followed with her acclaimed live recording I’m At Peace which was recorded at Bethel World Outreach in Brentwood, TN.
Vicki Yohe extends an invitation to all and concludes, “I love when I’m on the road and people come up to me and sometimes I really have to strain my brain to think if I’ve met them before because they approach me like they know me and say things like, `How have you been?’  They never met me before but they feel like they know me because they’ve seen me on TBN or maybe they saw me at a concert 15 years ago. I love that. I don’t want to be a stranger and I want them to feel comfortable enough to come up to me because I am a praise and worship leader. I want to lead people into the presence of God. I’m in a really good place. I just feel I’m at peace.”
