The ApprenticeChampion Dr. Randal Pinkett and BCT Partners Join President Barack Obama at the White House

buzzz worthy. . .

President Obama invited BCT Partners to Witness The Signing of the Fair Pay And Safe Workplace Executive Order

(New York, NY)..............Dr. Randal Pinkett, winner of the fourth season of NBC-TV'sThe Apprentice business-oriented reality competition and co-founder, Chairman and CEO of the New Jersey-based, multimillion dollar management consulting and IT solutions firm, BCT Partners, joined forces with President Barack Obama on July 31, 2014 at the White House, for the momentous signing of the Fair Pay and Safe Workplace Executive Order.

Dr. Pinkett and his partners at BCT Partners - Lawrence Hibbert (President), Aric Perminter (Executive Vice President) and Dr. Jeffrey Robinson (Founder) - attended this significant event at the express invitation of President Obama, in recognition of encouraging the growth and success of small businesses, standing for fair wages and equitable treatment and opportunities for those companies and their employees.   As Mr. Hibbert noted regarding the newly signed Executive Order, "The marketplace is more competitive when everyone plays by the rules; creating opportunity for good corporate citizens makes good sense for America."

BCT Partners was honored by President Obama's invitation to witness this signing in-person at the White House.  They are proud that for nearly 13 years, their team of management and technology consultants have offered the highest level of professionalism, commitment to excellence and passion in servicing the Federal government and are humbled to have been recognized in this manner.  They wholeheartedly believe in the power of small business and its impact on the United States' economy.  In order for BCT Partners and other small businesses to compete and grow in the Federal marketplace, it is vital to ensure that labor practices by all contractors are both fair and equitable.  This new Executive Order is significant, as it has an impact on nearly 28 million Americans that are employed by Federal contractors.

At that historic occasion, BCT Partners stood in support of the President with an affiliate of theirs, The Brunswick Group (TBG), represented by the presence of its principal, Randy Jones.   It is noteworthy that BCT Partners and The Brunswick Group have formed a Federal 8(a) Joint Venture, known as The Brunswick BCT Group, which serves clients at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

When the spirit of small business partnership is combined with fair play, as is the intention of President Obama and the new Fair Pay and Safe Workplace Executive Order, everyone has an equal opportunity for success.  BCT Partners looks forward to a future in which that is not just a possibility, but a distinct business reality.

Pastor organizes Project Awakening Stop The Violence Walk in Chicago

buzzz worthy. . .

It has been a bloody 90 days of summer in In Chicago. A death a day by gun violence by some accounts.  While most of the neighborhoods in the country are safe enough to have enjoyed the National Night Out in early August , it is hard to ignore a city that is crumbling at the hand of gun crimes right before our eyes.  The president has spoken.  Rom Emmanuel has spoken.  Jesse Jackson has spoken.  Not much has changed. The Windy City remains one of the deadliest localities in the world. Dr. Clifford E. Turner hopes to facilitate change with Stop The Violence Wak on Saturday, August 30, 2014.

EPM MUSIC GROUP MAKES HISTORY AS “TOP PRAISE BREAKS 2014” CD BECOMES FIRST ALBUM OF ITS KIND TO ENTER BILLBOARD TOP 20

buzzz worthy. . .

Atlanta, GA - EPM Music Group has made history with its very unique new compilation CD entitled “Earnest Pugh Presents Top Praise Breaks 2014.” The eleven-track project debuts at #18 on this week’s Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart and its thought to be the first ever collection of praise breaks to ever chart in the iconic music industry trade magazine.

For those who don’t know, a praise break is a spontaneous dance that breaks out among parishioners at Pentecostal churches. It’s usually accompanied by the church band delving into a feverish jam session where the pianist or organist engages in a percussive, double time jam session with the drummer and sometimes the bass player that creates a festive atmosphere of worship.

"My intent on releasing the praise break CD was to give musical directors and ministers of music some options to choose from when their services escalate from worship to praise," says singer Earnest Pugh, Founder of EPM Music Group. "I am grateful to God for the overwhelming support and love that we are getting on social media about the CD. Joshua Rogers, Tasha Cobbs and others have tweeted about it and several calls have come in from my peers in the industry so I am happy to know that my efforts are seen and appreciated. I decided to test the market with a digital CD first with hopes of creating a demand and then release a physical copy of the CD later. The way things are looking now, there will definitely be a physical release.”

"Working for Earnest Pugh in the capacity of A&R/Marketing is very exciting because he is an out-of-the-box type,” says Gerald Jones. “His creative and innovative ideas push me to go above and beyond the call of duty to get him what he wants. I am ecstatic about a digital record hitting Billboard."

"We enlisted some of gospel music's top producers such as Cedric Thompson, Jason White and Rodrick Dowling,” says EPM Music Group President Keith Williams. “We knew we had something special when we saw that newcomer Morgan Turner’s `Spirit of David’ break from the CD got over 6k plays on sound cloud within the first couple of weeks of us promoting the project." The digital CD is available on iTunes and Amazon.com.
