Memphis, TN -- Filmmakers from Memphis to Mozambique and everywhere in between are invited to submit their works to be considered for the 2015 edition of ON LOCATION: MEMPHIS. The international festival consists of five film making categories – Feature, Documentary, Live Action Short, Animation, and Music Video. Films will be screened in one of the world’s most important and interesting creative cities - Memphis, TN, which has been called everything from “The Birthplace of Rock & Roll” to “The Home of the Blues”. The winning filmmaker in each category will take home a coveted miniature Airstream Trailer Trophy, an award that has become one of the most prized on the festival circuit.
ON LOCATION: MEMPHIS will be held Labor Day weekend September 3-6. Films will once again be showcased at Malco Studio On The Square in Memphis’s historic Overton Square neighborhood.
All films should be submitted via Withoutabox with the deadline of April 15.  The late option is May 15, with the Withoutabox late deadline scheduled for June 1. Pricing corresponds to the deadline date and genre of film submitted, however, all fees are $55 or less. Special discount packs are also available. Films do not have to be a premiere but should not have a distribution deal in place.
In addition to film screenings, musicians working in categories ranging from rock to jazz to hip hop make up the music portion of the festival, while panels and seminars covering a variety of topics in the film arena are presented by some of the nations most notable professionals.
