Karrueche Tran and Chantel Jeffries Land Roles in Upcoming Comedy 'Dinner with the Stankershets'


LOS ANGELES, Aug. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Emmy Award-winning actress Karrueche Tran and model/actress Chantel Jeffries will star in the upcoming romantic comedy Dinner with the Stankershets directed by Chris Stokes. The movie tells the hilarious story of a newly-engaged couple introducing their families to each other for the first time. Tran will play the lead female role opposite her on-screen fiancé Marques Houston. Jeffries will play Tran's half sister in the film alongside other notable castmates including Dorien Wilson, Suzanne Whang, Clifton Powell, Wendy Raquel Robinson and Black.

Dinner with the Stankershets tells the story of a high-powered attorney (Houston) who has been keeping secrets about his family from his well-to-do fiancé (Tran). The comedy ensues when his fiancé secretly invites his family to dinner and all truths begin to unravel.
Both managed by Electric Republic, Karrueche Tran and Chantel Jeffries are two multifaceted talents who have been hard at work in Hollywood. Tran currently stars in the Emmy Award-winning web series The Bay and Stylehaul's hit web series, Vanity.
