"Blurred Lines" Part 2: Gap Band wins royalties law suit against Bruno Mars

Here we go again.  Another legendary group has won a law suit against a younger artist who was inspired by their style.  The Gap Band, the funk group led by Charlie Wilson that spawned numerous hits in the 70's and 80'shas won their case for similarities between uptown funk and Ooops upsude you head.It's Blurre lines part two as the difference between waht was actully copied and inspired is not clear.

"Uptown Funk" is the  highest gorssing record thus far in 2015 with 5 million copies sold. The win grants The Gap Band a portion of those royalties and partial songwrtiting credit.
