For Immediate Release: LOS ANGELES, CA (June 2017) – Pure Flix, in partnership with Paramount Pictures, will release SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME on October 20, based on the New York Times best-selling true story.

Debbie Hall (Academy Award® winner Renee Zellweger) and her husband Ron Hall (Academy Award® nominee Greg Kinnear) recommit to their marriage in the most unlikely of places – a homeless shelter. But it’s really meeting the homeless man Denver (Academy Award® nominee Djimon Hounsou) which changes all three of their lives forever. Academy Award® winner Jon Voight also stars and plays Hall's father, with whom he reconciles thanks to the revelations of his new life.

Pure Flix has partnered with MegaFest, the nation’s largest faith, film, and family multi-day experience to present the special showing of the inspirational film as well as host an exclusive ‘Talk Back’ panel with the book’s author and film executive producer Ron Hall.  In advance of the theatrical release, SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME will also be presented at a special screening this Friday, June 30.
