New York, NY – BET Networks, a unit of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA, VIA.B sted NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), have announced the nominations for the 2016 "BET Awards," taking place at Microsoft Theater on Sunday, June 26. Kesha's BBMA performance is back on

Kesha's previously cancelled Billboard Music Awards comeback performance is back on. 

"We are pleased that Kesha and Kemosabe Records have reached an agreement and very much look forward to having Kesha perform on the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday night on ABC," dick clark productions said in a statement to Billboard.

On Tuesday, May 19 Billboard released a statement explaining why the performance was nixed.

"Kesha’s performance on the Billboard Music Awards was always approved, in good faith. Approval was only suspended when Kemosabe learned Kesha was to use the performance as a platform to discuss the litigation. Now that Kemosabe has obtained assurances, that it is relying upon, from Kesha, her representatives, and Dick Clark Productions that neither Kesha nor her supporters will use the performance as such a platform, the approval has been restored," the statement reads.

The United States offers our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the passengers and crew of EgyptAir Flight 804, as well as to the countries affected by this tragedy, first and foremost Egypt and France.  At this time we do not yet know definitively what caused the disappearance of Flight 804.  The United States stands ready to provide our full support and resources to the Governments of Egypt and France as they investigate this incident. - Josh Earnest

Every week, millions of Americans work more than 40 hours a week but do not receive the overtime pay they have earned.  Tomorrow, the Department of Labor will be finalizing a rule to fix that by updating overtime protections for workers.  In total, the new rule is expected to extend overtime protections to 4.2 million more Americans who are not currently eligible under federal law, and it is expected to boost wages for workers by $12 billion over the next 10 years.
For much of the 20th century, the 40-hour workweek was a pillar of economic security for working families.  The rules of the road were simple: if you were called on to put in extra work, your employer had to pay you extra regardless of whether you received an hourly wage or a salary.  This l…
