It' been a winning week in politics and entertainment in the U.S.  On Tuesday Pres. Donald Trump struck a peace and denuclearization deal with  North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un.   The elimination of chemical weapons is not included in the 4-point plan.  Trump said The U.S. will cease joint military exercises with S. Korea. While North Kore, only reconfirm their committed to denuclearization, langause that has been used in past agreements.   Media critics say the U.S. got nothing and waitin to see if  the rogue nation  will make good on it promises this time. Trump was widely praied for making forst steps in the pece process. Ex NBA player Deise Rodman was in Singapore during the summit whne he cried on camera telling CNN he was responsible for bring his friends together.

  On Sunday,  for the second year in a row, Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors defeated Lebron James' Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Championship, their third title in four years.    Prior to the final game, both players said neither team will accept he customary invitation to the White House.  Also on Sunday, at the 72nd Annual Tony Awards, Harry Potter was recognized with 6 Tonys including the most coveted one for best play.  Best Musical went to the "The Big Band."

Commuted convict Alice Marie Johnson said she'd never heard of reality-star turned-prison-reform- advocate Kim Kardashian West before she offered to help her get out of jail.  On Wednesday they met for the first time face-to-face in Memphis in  an interview with the Today show's Hoda Kotb. Johnson had served 21 years of a life sentence  on drug charges.  West felt the charge was too harsh and  appealed to president Donald Trump in an Oval office meeting.  A week later Johson was free after Trump's decision to commute the sentence.
