Here is the list of the top 20 Democrats participating in the first primary debate

The DNC has announced participants chosen for the first Democratic primary debate in Miami on June 26 & 27 The top 20 presidential candidates selected to participate in the first Democratic primary debate later this month have been announced. Nearly all of them made it. The diverse list includes women, men and for the first time, an openly gay contender, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg.

Author and activist Marianne Williamson also made the cut along with the expected lot Biden, Sanders and Warren.

Gov. STEVE Bullock of Montana, Rep. Seth Moulton and Mass. and Mayor Wayne Messam of Mirarmar, Fla. are out.

OFFERING WORKERS BETTER COVERAGE: President Donald J. Trump is expanding Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), opening new coverage options for American workers.
The Trump Administration has finalized a rule to expand HRAs, giving businesses a better way to offer health insurance coverage.Under the rule, employers will be able to provide their workers with tax-preferred funds to pay for the cost of health insurance coverage that workers purchase in the individual market.This rule will particularly benefit small businesses that face significant costs in offering a traditional group health plan and businesses that do not currently offer coverage.   The rule corrects a major distortion by, in effect, providing the same tax benefits to these new HRAs that are provided today to traditional e…

Cuba Gooding Jr. is figting sex abuse allegations

Actor Cuba Gooding, Jr. was arraigned in a Manhattan court on Thursday and released without bail on accusations of forcible touching and sex abuse. The Oscar winning entertainer, known for his roles in Jerry McGuire and Boyz N the Hood said he was not guilty of groping a woman at a bar. His attorneys believe a video from the 2008 incident will clear his name. CBS has more.

American Evolution sponsors 2 African American exhibits to commemorate the 400th anniversary of slavery in the US at Virginia Museum of Fine Arts

Two 2019 Commemoration, American Evolution exhibitions, Cosmologies from the Tree of Life: Art from the African American South and Determined: The 400-year Struggle for Black Equality, are opening in June. Timed to coincide with the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first Africans in Virginia in 1619, these exhibitions combined explore the African American experience over the last 400 years.
In partnership with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA), Cosmologies from the Tree of Life: Art from the African American South, will debut on Saturday, June 8. This special exhibition features recent acquisitions from the Souls Grown Deep Foundation to strengthen the representation of artists from the African American South. Cosmologies, on view in the Evans Court Exhibition Galleries from June 8 to November 17, includes sculptures, paintings, works on paper, and quilts, among other media, addressing some of the most profound and persistent issues in American society.
