ATLANTA (September 10, 2010) - Jane the Journalist, Alvin Brump, Santiago, Ace, Tami and their friends will make their Daystar television network debut when they present the world television premiere of Open Rivers Pictures' My Destiny Place, Where Dreams Come Alive on Saturday, September 11 at 8:30 a.m. CT on DIrecTV Channel 369.

What do you want to be when you grow up? Children are often asked this question. Unfortunately, many become adults and it's never answered. My Destiny Place is a show that gives children, four to nine years old, a head start by training them now in the areas of entrepreneurship and leadership via biblical principles. It's entertaining while being educational, and motivates children to explore endless career possibilities while helping them discover their God-given destinies.

My Destiny Place takes muppet-style puppets and places them in an entertainment format. The Show hosts, Ace and Tami, help keep children laughing while learning. Each episode is topical with a theme throughout the segments making it a great tool for educators and parents. Segments include: As I'm Growing Up, Kidz Biz, Real Kids, Kickin' It with Khobie, Music Segments and My Movie.

"I am so happy that God has allowed My Destiny Place to have a premiere launch and be part of the Daystar family of programming," says founder and President of Open Rivers Pictures, Tammy Williams.

Daystar Television Network is the fastest growing and one of the largest Christian television networks in the world, with an extensive blend of interdenominational and multi-cultural programming broadcasting into homes across the globe.

"We are very excited to welcome My Destiny Place to our line-up of children's programming on Saturday mornings at 8:30am central standard time," says Director of Programming, Renae Christoffersen. It features energetic and talented children, and brings both an educational and inspirational message!

My Destiny Place will also premiere on NRB Network Saturday, September 18 at 11a.m. on DirecTV Channel 378.
