Mali Music Has New Music On the Horizon

LOS ANGELES -- As Grammy Weekend descends upon Hollywood to bring together the biggest names in music, one artist humbly stood on a stage in West Hollywood to describe how God has been the one motivation of his artistry. Mali Music performed his most popular hits along with snippets of his new, forthcoming EP, "Mali is" to a packed theater at "The One Experience" presented by Pastor Touré Roberts and One Church International.
"When you start heading toward that thing God has called you to do, you better be prepared for some resistance," said Mali as he described his new single, Ready Aim. "In this song I wanted to get into what happens to you when you become who God calls you to be. The enemy will throw its best shot at you, and it can try, but it cannot stop you!"
Leading up to his preview of the single, Mali treated the audience to a mini-concert of his classic hits and new joints peppered with interview segments by Billy Johnson of Yahoo! Music and Pastor Touré Roberts.
"God is reclaiming the gifts of the industry for the kingdom and Mali is a good example of that," said Roberts. "I hope tonight inspires us all to renew our commitment to the dreams God has placed on our hearts and to pursue them despite all adversity."
"The song 'Ready Aim' is my new favorite song, period," said Johnson, who had a chance to preview the music before the concert.
Mali's last album, "The 2econd Coming" is currently available on iTunes and his new single "Ready Aim" from the forthcoming EP, "Mali is" will be available on Feb. 13th. For more information, visit http://malimusicnote.com.
