LiLo gets a light sentence

buzzz worthy. . .

Actress Lindsay Lohan is the luckiest woman in Hollywood.  She has been to court on various charges over 20 times and couldn’t tell you what it is like to have an extended stay on lock down.   “LiLo” dodged prolonged jail time once again Monday (March 18) when she appeared in a Los Angeles court. The 26-year-old star pled  no contest to reckless driving and lying to cops in relation to a 2012 car accident in the City of Angels.

For the misdemeanor charges she faced the judge sentenced Lohan to a mere  5 days of jail time, 90 days of lock down rehab (which only exists on Dr. Drew as far as we know),  30 days of community service and 18 months of psychotherapy. She will be allowed to complete the community service in New York, where she and her family reside  and is expected to serve the brief prison stint after a May 2 hearing.  At the hearing she must show proof of enrollment into rehab, a community service program and psychotherapy.

Arriving in Los Angeles by private jet almost an hour late (50 minutes), Lohan was  glitter bombed by an unidentified person upon entering the court.

Over the past 5 years the former child star has added serious accusations to her rap sheet from stealing a necklace from a store in L.A. shop to assaulting a woman in a New York bar.

Some  think the sentencing is too lenient and that an extended period behind bar will end the self-destructive journey Lohan is on.

“I don’t think she’ll ever get it unless she gets some jail time,”opined actress Holly Robinson Pete  on Access Hollywood Live.
