 This past year was a good one for Drake by award show standards:  the New York bred rapper has been nominated for as many awards as there are months in a year - 12-  2013 BET Awards, including Best Male Hip Hop Artist.  The nominees were announced live in a press conference held in Los Angeles today.

By Mona Austin Much of what the average American knows about Frederick Douglass lies in the pages of "The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave."  His memory has lived on through the annals of history as a heroic abolitionist.
