Sweet Brown is hoping to make a fortune off of her misfortune with new products and reality show
buzzz worthy. . .
Internet sensation Sweet Brown is cashing in on the misfortune that made her a Youtube sensation.
The worldwide web met Kimberly Brown, AKA Sweet Brown, in a news clip in April of 2012.
In the video Brown is telling a local reporter how she reacted to an apartment fire. Brown said she initially thought she was smelling bar-b-que, but later realized the building was burning exclaiming, "Oh Lord Jesus it's a fire!" She went on to say she caught Bronchitis from smoke inhalation and concldued the interview with the catch phrase that spread like wildfire: "Ain't nobody got time for that."
The viral Youtube video, which gained 2 million views in 2 days, helped launch Sweet Brown's career and business.
The former day care worker mangaged to extend her 15 minutes of fame by appearing on television shows (she was on The Views in July) and in commercials. Soon she'll be packing her bags and moving Be-ver-ly. . Hills that is. Brown's very own reality show, "The Sweet Browns," is in development. It has been described as the Bevely Hillbillies meet the Jeffersons. The show will follow Brown as she pursues an acting career in Hollywood.
Missing no opportunity to capitalize on the popularity she's gained, the budding actress will soon be coming to a theater near you and possibly grocery store shelves too. Brown has already landed several movie roles including a part in Tyler Perry's "Madea's Christmas," which comes out this November. Plus, she has launched the "Oh Lord Jesus It's A Fire" line of bar-b-que sauces.
Her representative says Brown also landed a part in a movie with Samuel L. Jackson and Gabrielle Union and plans to sell the all natural, gluten-free sauces at tourist stops.
I spoke to Brown recently at Megafest in Dallas, TX. Check out the interveiw at the end of the video report (Forward to the 3:00 mark to hear Sweet Brown only.) CLICK HERE.
