"Lucky's" unfortunate Kerry Washington cover photo

buzzz worthy. . .

"Scandal" star Kerry Washington has such a distinct pout you can recognize her anywhere, right?Wrong!  Those permanently puckered lips were not enough of a clue to identify Washington on the cover of the latest issue of Lucky magazine and her fans are peeved.  They are upset because they say she does not  look like herself, implying the pic was altered somehow.

I have to agree.

I saw the cover for the first time at the grocery store.  I picked it up to see who the unfamiliar face was, only to realize it was Washington. She is wearing her hair in a shoulder length razor cut. Her make-up is mono-toned and her eyes appear to be smaller. The photo is not bad. . .it just looks like some random model.

I once saw Washington in person at  the Directors Guild in L.A.  She was "stop-and-stare" gorgeous. She has unforgettable looks.  The "Lucky" (Dec. 2013/Jan. 2014) cover downplays or distorts  her appearance to the point that she is unrecognizable. The 36-year-old mommy-to-be has landed several covers this year and it is obvious who she is on all of them--except this one.

The un-"Lucky" cover is pictured below.  We've also listed a few of her best magazine covers from this past year where there's no doubt it's the fierce Oliva Pope --- I mean Kerry.

This photo faux pas is just a tiny sidebar.  As a  stunning actress, newlywed and expectant mother Washington continues to have cover worthy looks and life.

Does it look like Kerry Washington to you?
