Deitrick Haddon's League of Extraordinary Worshipers to perform on Celebration of Gospel

Deitrick Haddon's LXW to make nationwide debut on BET's Celebration of Gospel (Indianapolis-March 4th) Deitrick Haddon's LXW (League of Xtraordinary Worshippers) entered into 2014 with a mission to introduce the world to a new choir sound. With their current single, "Great God" steadily rising up the charts (currently #28 on Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart; debuted this week on Mediabase) and the video racking up YouTube view each passing day, it looks like people are beginning to take notice. In a few weeks, the choir will gain the attention of an even larger audience. On April 6th, LXW will make their nationwide debut on BET's Celebration of Gospel where they'll perform, "Great God". Since forming last year, the 100-member strong young adult choir has been wowing audiences with their performances. Not only does LXW capture the high-energy, larger-than-life sound and meticulous melodies that fans have grown to love about choir music but they also bring something different. According to the choir's founder, Deitrick Haddon, LXW is truly passionate about presenting God in a contemporary way. They've been known to incorporate dance, spoken word and more into several of their performances. Don't miss what's sure to be a show-stopping performance, Sunday April 6th at 8 p.m. EST. Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
