Apollo pleads guilty to fraud charges
buzzz worthy. .
Apollo Nida, the husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Phaedra Parks has plead guilty to fraud charges. On May 6, Apollo plead guilty to money laundering and identity theft, which are federal offenses that are similar to crimes he's served time for in the past. Pending sentencing, reports say he could face up to 30 years behind bars.
(Sidebar: Doesn't it seem unfair that Porsha Williams was fired for dragging Kenya Moore by the hair on the RHOA reunion show? Especially when you take into consideration that Bravo allowed Apolloto finish the season even though he allegedly injured Brandon's ribs during the "Pillow Talk" melee that led to one of the most violent eruptions in all of reality television? At the time, all he got was a good chiding from his attorney wife and seemed to benefit from the Network's double standard y remaining on the show and traveling to Mexico with the cast.)
Just days after the former inmate avoided Andy Cohen's questions about fraud charges on part two of the reunion show, the tables have turned. Chances are Nida won't be back on the show for the next season because he could be headed back to jail. Nida is also facing assault charges from the fight with Brandon. ~Mona Austin
