BAD BLOOD: Geneva Thomas strikes Melyssa Ford with huge lawsuit

buzzz worthy. . .

Bad blood between Bravo's "Blood, Sweat and Heels" cast mates Geneva Thomas and Melyssa Ford has spilled over into the yet-to-air season two of the reality show in the worst way. The ladies exchanged words in season one making it clear that they did not care for each other, but this latest physical fight got over heated.  TMZ reported brand marketing executive Thomas split realtor Fords head with a wine bottle, requiring the resulting gash to be closed with 3 staples.
The ladies  brawled while the show was shooting scenes for season 2 on a boat in NYC.  On the same night of the incident Thomas was charged with assault in a Manhattan jail.  Newer information indicates that  Thomas was also injured and would  have pressed charges, but didn't because Ford "beat her to the punch." The latest addition to the cast, Arzo Anwar was allegedly also a part of the fght, suggesting it was a two on one encounter.
Thomas is fighting back with a whopping $25 million lawsuit.  The details of the lawsuit
         were released i a statement:
The nature of this action is for Prima Facie Tort, Battery, Defamation, Malicious Prosecution, Abuse of Process and Intentional Interference with a Business Relationship. Geneva is seeking compensatory money damages in the amount of $5,000,000 and $20,000,000 in Punitive Damages, the cost and disbursements of this action, and any other relief the court seems just and proper.
The summons with notice is for Melyssa Forde and Arzo Anwar, the two women who initiated a physical fight with Geneva on Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
Arzo Anwar is a friend of Melyssa Forde and the newest cast member on the show.
Despite reports, Geneva also sustained medical treatment at the Lenox Hill hospital and received stitches for 4 abrasions to her chest.
The only reason why Geneva was arrested is because Melyssa called police first. Geneva has the right at any time to press charges against Melyssa Ford for battery assault and possession of a weapon and act to have both Melyssa Forde and Arzo Anwar arrested. The District Attorney of New York City has officially subpoenaed the Bravo video footage.
The Slice will keep you updated on this case as more details become available.

SIDE BAR: Reality TV violence is clearly real. It has advanced from cat fights where producers could intervene to life-threatening violence that requires police to get involved.  Show producers need to have a zero tolerance policy and employ on set security before  someone ends up in prison, the hospital and their final destination, the grave. Networks airing such programs must have more responsibilty.
