Va. lesbian couple wins case to have names listed on children's birth certificates

law will now permit both of their names to be on their children's birth certificates.

A ruling on a gay paternity case in Richmond, VA has made it possible for the names of both same sex parents to appear on birth certificates.  Now a Virginia lesbian couple who have a set of twins through surrogacy has  peace of mind that they can be legally recognized as a family in public.  There's is a story many gay couple with children share.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1tg1rMx) has the full story.
