Cissy Houston has broken her silence in a radio interview, sharing grim news about her grand daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

"There's still not a great deal of hope," Cissy Houston, 81 said concerning the health status of her deceased daughter Whitney's only child.

She told New York City radio station 107.5 WBLS Bobbi Kris has been transferred to a rehabilitation center, but nothing has changed.

Houston said she feels the prayerful support from the public and invites continued prayer for Bobbi Kristina's recovery.

"I feel every bit of it," she said on "Middays With Shaila" in her first interview since the Bobbi Kris was hospitalized from an apparent bathtub drowning.

"I give it to God one time 'cause I know he's able and I cannot change a thing. So I’m asking everybody to just pray to the Lord, who we know can do something about it."

Ms. Houston has completely surrendered the matter to divine authority. Having already suffered the early death of her daughter, she has come to terms with the severity of her grand daughter's condition.

She said if God works a miracle "thank God," but  "if it happens the other way I'm alright."

Here at The Slice our thoughts and prayers are continuously with Bobbi Kristina, her father Bobbi Brown and the entire Houston family.
