On June 4, Open Road Films hosted a special New York City press screening of the film "DOPE" at the AMC Loews 19. Actor and recording artist Mack Wilds, and television & radio personality Angela Yee hosted the screening. Notable attendees included, songstress Bridget Kelly, executive producer Mona Scott-Young, actor Rotimi, reality star Po Johnson and DJ Scratch. Press in attendance included representatives from Huffington Post Live, BET, Vibe, Essence, REVOLT, Hip Hop Weekly, Hip Hop Wired, Madame Noire, Hello Beautiful, The Urban Daily and many more.
The reviews have come in and by most acounts, it's hemovei to see this weekend. . .

"DOPE" is produced by Forest Whitaker (he also narrates), executive produced by Pharrell Williams (he did the music), and co-executive produced by Sean Combs, and stars Shameik Moore, Kimberly Elise, Chanel Iman, Quincy Brown, Zoe Kravitz and A$AP Rocky. The film hits theaters June 19.
