Senate passes assisted suicide bill in California

A victory for the families of terminally ill patients in California, the state's legislature has approved assisted suicide. The "right to die" bill was approved by the State Senate on Friday (Sept. 11) with a vote of 23-14. 

California joins  Oregon, Washington, Montana and Vermont in  allowing physicians to prescribe medications that accelerates death. the bill will now go to Gov. a Jesuit Catholic who some  expect will wrestle with passing it.
