TUNE-IN ALERT: PBS airs Kennedy Center salute to Eddie Murphy tonight

Need a laugh? In honor of his legacy as an actor and comedian, in October Eddie Murphy received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the J.F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.  The Twain award isthe op honor for humor in the nation. The Brooklyn native whose career kicked off on SNL boasts a long list of film accomplishments including Dr. Dolittle, Coming to America, The Nutty Professor, Vampire In Brooklyn, 48 Hrs., Harlem Nights and is well-resepcted as a funny man. Sure to be a laughable experience, fellow comedians on hand to fete Murphy included Dave Chappelle, Kathy Griffin, Arsenio Hall, Brittany Howard, George Lopez, Sam Moore, Kevin Nealon, Trevor Noah, Jay Pharoah, Joe Piscopo and Chris Rock. SNL alum an car crash survivor Tracy Morgan also took part in the salute.  Airing tonight at 9:00 P.M. Eastern on PBS.
