VH1's "The Ride" offers and up close look at how popular entertainers made it

buzzz worthy. . .

This Spring VH1 premiered THE RIDE, a new Saturday evening  program that takes a behind the scenes look at artists currently on the grind and before they reached the top. The show kicked off in April so this Saturday when Snoop Dogg is featured it will be half way through the season.  to teach young up and comers a lesson about commitment and hard work.  It takes a whole loft more than getting a compliment form someone big to make it big in the entertainment industry.

THE RIDE consists of 8 hour-long episodes featuring Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Linkin Park, T.I and various other trendsetting artists, which will go into the truth of how these artists got to where they are today. Filled with raw unfiltered interviews, the road to success is paved as artists recount the events that transformed their lives.

Each episode of THE RIDE gives the artist a platform to tell his or her own story. While giving fans around the world an intimate peek inside their lives NOW—and THEN. Shot in an edgy, innovative style, THE RIDE takes viewers inside the artist’s fast paced, glamorous (and grueling) life on the road, in the studio, and behind-the-scenes with flashbacks to the events that got them here. As the artist recounts the events that transformed their lives, fans come away with a whole new appreciation for the artist they thought they knew so well.
