ANTHONY BROWN & group therAPy grasps Billboard nominations in all three gospel categories

April 12, 2016 (New York, NY) - The hits keep on coming for top-selling artist Anthony Brown.  After recently making history at the 31st Annual Stellar Awards, Anthony Brown garners three Billboard Music Award nominations yesterday.  

These are Brown's first BBMA nominations and he was recognized in the following categories: Top Gospel Album for the number one album Everyday Jesus, Top Gospel Song for the chart topping single "Worth," and Top Gospel Artist. 

Brown has captured the attention of the industry with his sophomore album Everyday Jesus. The album debuted at *Number 1 when it was released last summer and remained in the top slot for 7 weeks. The success of the album has been spurred on by his monster hit song "Worth," which was Number 1 on the gospel songs chart for over 25 weeks.  The song continues to be the best-selling gospel digital single this year.

The project also earned Brown his first Grammy Award nomination this year for Best Gospel Performance/Song. This past February, Brown was nominated for 10 Stellar Music Awards and he went on to sweep all major awards at the 31st Annual Stellar Awards. Winning a historic 10 trophies, Brown won all categories for which he was nominated. 

Brown will be touring this summer including performances at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Six Flags in New Jersey, the Baltimore African American Festival, the Barbados Gospel Fest as well as appearances in Chicago, Atlanta, Memphis and many more.
