Second Baltimore police officer found not guilty in the death of Freddie Gray

The verdict in the case of the second of six officers in the Freddie Gray case is in. Officer Edward Nero was found not guilty on all charges including assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment. The state failed to meet its burden that the officer violated the law. Nero was not a part the transport, but lifted Gray into the police vehicle. Protests have begun outside of the court house.
