Currently based in Nashville, Tennesee, The Explorers Club are a pop/vocal harmony band who formed in the coastal town of Charleston, South Carolina in 2005. Heavily influenced by the vocal harmony styles and production of The Beach Boys yet praised for their own accomplished songwriting and lively performances, the band are also influenced by classic rock and roll arrangements made popular by the likes of The Beatles, Chuck Berry and Phil Spector, They also draw influences from songwriters Jimmy Webb, Burt Bacharach and Paul Williams.
The Explorers Club have already released two critically acclaimed albums, 2008’s Freedom Wind and 2012’s Grand Hotel. The band’s songs have also been featured in films and on television shows on major networks such as CBS, Fox and HBO. In their ten year history they have shared stages with the Apples in Stereo, Earth, Wind and Fire, Cheap Trick, Dave Mason, The Zombies and The Polyphonic Spree, as well as earning rave reviews and airplay from media outlets around the world.
