Trump campaign adviser Manafort resigns

Trump campaign adviser Paul Manafort has resigned from the campaign. Just days ago as the upper ranks of the campaign staff underwent a major overhaul Manafort vowed he would stay. Manafort's resignation followed two days after Trump brought Kellyanne Conway as his campaign manager and Steve Bannon as his campaign's CEO. Meanwhile his name has come up in an investigation involving a money scandal with the Ukraine. Ukrainian authorities looking at whether he and others received millions in illegal payments from Ukraine's former pro-Russian ruling party according to CNN.
 
Trump said in a statement, “This morning Paul Manafort offered, and I accepted, his resignation from the campaign.  I am very appreciative for his great work in helping to get us where we are today, and in particular his work guiding us through the delegate and convention process. Paul is a true professional and I wish him the greatest success.”

Trump has gone through 3 campign mangers since the start of his run for president.
