Follow-up Single "He Welcomes the Beggar” Impacting Radio Now

Nashville, Tennessee (October 6, 2016) -- Award-winning Gospel artist 11th Hour recently scored its third consecutive #1 song. The song, "Can You Burn”, spent four weeks in the #1 spot on the AbsolutelyGospel.com Top 40 Weekly Chart last month, and it was just announced as the #1 song on the upcoming November edition of the Singing News Top 80 monthly chart.

11th Hour’s Amber Eppinette stated, " We want to say a huge thank you to the writer, Dianne Wilkinson, to our record company, Crossroads Label Group for all of your hard work and support, to the DJs and radio stations for playing our music, to the Beckie Simmons Agency for their hard work keeping us busy singing the music we love, and AG Publicity for their support of our group.”

"Can You Burn” follows the group’s two previous #1 hit singles - "Jesus Is In The House” and "Mountain Moving Faith.” The single was penned by award-winning songwriter Dianne Wilkinson ("Boundless Love”, "Good News From Jerusalem”) and has a message challenging each of us to "burn” for the Lord.

The group just released the follow-up single to "Can You Burn” this month. The song, titled "He Welcomes the Beggar”, was written by Eppinette along with Kenna West and Jason Cox. The song can be found on Crossroads Music Group’s October 2016 radio compilation.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed. Also in 2024, a woman filed a protection order against Green in Houston County in which she believed him to be a danger," but did not confirm Mrs. Massey as the suspect.    Various reports indicate the couple's children were present when he was shot in the head.   In one instance, a woman who shared children with Green alleged that he repeatedly struck her , including once when she was pregnant.
