Nick Canon to spend Christmas in hospital

Nick Canon won't be home for the Christmas holiday, sadly. The actor/host/comedian has been hospitalized due to complications with Lupus, a disease he has been figting for the last 5 years. Via an Instagram post on Thursday, 36 year-old Canon shared a photo of himself hooked up to a monitor while he was lying in a hospital bed. In his note to fans, the America's Got Talent host states doctors said he will be fine by the New Year.

"For all who have been trying to contact me the last few days this is where I've been. And I will be in the Hospital through Christmas," he wrote on Instagram. "All good though, Doctors say I will be back to normal before the New Year. #LupusSucks #ncredible #warrior."Let's remember him in our prayers for a speedy recovery.

This is not Canon's first time being admitted into the hospital. In 2012 he had kidney failure (which led to the discovery of the auto immune disease he now has) and was treated for blood clots in his lungs on a separate occasion.

Meanwhile, his twins, Monroe and Moroccan, will be spending the holidays with his ex-wife Mariah Carey in Aspen, CO.

Canon confirmed in November has a baby on the way with former Miss Arizona USA, Brittany Bell.

Alabama Pastor Shot and Killed in Domestic Incident

Pastor Da’Quarius Green , a 31-year-old leader of Elba Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Alabama, was shot on Dec. 23, 2025 and died several days later in the hospital after a domestic dispute at his home in Level Plains . Authorities have described the shooting as a “domestic incident” involving his wife,  𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐲. Local news station WTVY reported "c ourt records show that Green was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges 3 times in Houston County last year, with each of those cases dismissed.
