Andrew Puzder, Trump's Labor Sec. pick walks away from position
Andrew Puzder, Pres. Trump's nominee for Sec. of Labor, has withdrawn himself from consideration over claims of domestic abuse and hiring an illegal worker. A tape of his ex-wife speaking to Oprah about their marital issues was exposed. The ex has since come forth saying she mischaracterized him on the show and only wanted a free trip. He admitted to hiring an undocumented housekeeper. In addition to these scars on his integrity it was unlikely that he would be confired. Puzder also lacked bi-partisan support.
Puzder was the CEO of Hardees and Carl's Jr. burger chains. His failure to be confirmed is the second blow to the Trump administration in a week, as they try to recover from the resigatnion of National Security advisor, Micahel Flynn's resgination over sharing sensitive information with a Russian Ambassaor.
