An extension of Christian Cultural Center, now the Brooklyn Campus, Jamaal was able to watch his father, Reverend Dr. A.R. Bernard, build the storefront ministry into New York City’s largest church. Winans, Sr. has wed his long time girlfriend Deneen R. Carter. Carter is a 57-year-old physical therapist and minister at Perfecting Church in Detroit, founded by Winans.
