ICE round up delayed for two weeks: Is this another Trump tease?

By Mona Austin
Today the Trump Administration planned to kick thousands of undocumented immigrants out of the country as the U.S. struggles to manage the border crisis. Democrats are breathing are relieved after he called off the scheduled national ICE raid at Camp David over the weekend. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is attending a community event in Queens, NY to discuss immigrations. She said it was good that the president offered the extension. Via Twitter on Monday morning  Pres. Trump said he delayed the removal of  immigrants that was set to start today at the request of Democrats. He will hold off for two weeks to give Democrats a chance to come up with a plan. But, it has to be a plant that both the Democrat led House and Republican led Senate can agree upon, a feat that has yet to happen in the three years Trump has been in office.
VIA TWITTER TRUMP WARNED DEMOCRATS TO MOVE QUICKLY "ORELSE"
Senator Bernie Sanders suspects Trump changing his mind may be a tactic to get his constituents to vote for him again. "It 's not an accident that he announced this at the same time of his announcement that he was seeking re-election,"said Sanders, Trump's potential opponent.
With the Independence Day recess coming it is highly probable won't get their proposal done in time to meet the deadline.  The likelihood of Democrats to come to the table with a deal in a two week window is slim considering the Congress is only in session four days this week and will be on a one week recess thereafter.
Both the House and Senate will need to come up with plans that address both immigration and asylum policies to fully cover the mass deportation.

Talk of a border wall has simmered, former AG Jeff Sessions whose zero toelrenc policy absolved is no longer in the position and the Director of Homeland Security has been fired in the year since Pres. Trump promised swift, comprehensive immigration reform.
