Trump is chummy with Putin at G20 Summit

At the G20 Summit in Osaka, Japan, Pres. Donald Trump joked with Vladmir Putin about Russian interference in the 2016 election in his first meeting with him since the Mueller Report was completed. Trump has a history of downplaying the FBIs findings about An American Reporter asked what he would discuss with Putin and he said "that's none of your business." A White House press pooler reported  Trump said this about his agenda:

"It's a great honor to be with President Putin... We have many things to discuss, including trade and including some disarmament, some — a little protectionism perhaps, in a very positive way.... We have a very very good relationship and we look forward to spending some very good time together. A lot of very positive things are going to come out of the relationship."

Here is bit of Putin's short remarks, via translator: "I cannot but agree with Mr. President... All the topics have been outlined. We haven't seen each other since Helsinki."

On the home front, Pres. Jimmy Carter said Trump would not have been Commander-in-Chief if he was not assisted by the Russians.  He said Trump does not want t

For the president to appear to be on friendly terms with an enemy of the nation while working in an international capacity, while underming the authority of the highest security agency that has already determined Russian interfered with the 2016 election to damage the campaign of Hillary R. Clinton, some say  the POTUS is weak in the presence of Vladmir Putin.  White Trump appears to  wants to move on, despite  the Mueller Investigation re-confirming there was "sweeping" hacking on the part of Russians.

Putin invited Trump to a WWII victory day event.  Trump has not committed to attending yet.
