LOS ANGELES, Calif. – March 19, 2020 – To brighten up these challenging times, America’s leading inspirational comedian Michael Jr. will present a his 80-minute comedy special, streaming free for the first time ever in a Facebook Event Sunday, March 22, at 5 pm CT.


“In a time where we have to be physically apart, laughter can bring us all together because laughter is good like a medicine,” Michael Jr. said. “I’m all about making laughter common in uncommon places and that’s why we’re hosting the watch party.”

For two decades, the nationally known comic has performed hundreds of live shows each year and appeared on major TV shows such as Jimmy Kimmel LiveThe Tonight Show and The Late, Late Show. He produces a weekly podcast, Michael Jr. Off the Cuff, and has authored a children’s book, appeared in the film, WAR ROOM, and stars in the upcoming film, SELFIE DAD.”

“I believe in the power of laughter to help us enjoy good times and get through hard times,” he said. “This Facebook event is one way I can use my talent to shine a bit of light in this unprecedented time of isolation.”

The comedy special will feature Michael Jr.’s encouraging – and funny – standup material and also include vignettes telling inspirational stories of ordinary people finding the punchline for their own lives, by helping others.
