Elton John to host star studded Coronavirus benefit concert

The Coronavirus has interrupted the flow of entertainment productions and the ability of artists to mke a living , but it could not keep their spirits down as numerous stars have offered their talent for free on various social media platforms. When disaster strikes, the artist community  always shows up with a relief concert.  This time is a bit different due the the world wide pandemic keeping every apart.  FOX and iHeartmedia have wrangled this beautiful energy to present an online relief concert -- from the artists homes.  This concert will be broadcast at  9-10 EST/6-7 PST on Sunday, March 29.  Viewers will be encouraged to donte  two charities for first responders and their families.  This concert will replace this year's iHeart Radio Awards.

Featured performances include Alicia Keys, the Backstreet Boys, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw and more, from their own homes, filmed with their personal cell phones, cameras and audio equipment, to ensure the health and safety of all involved. More perforamnces will be added so be sure to check back with the Slice for that update!

Winans, Sr. has wed his long time girlfriend Deneen R. Carter. Carter is a 57-year-old physical therapist and minister at Perfecting Church in Detroit, founded by Winans. Little is known about the bride publicly. The gospel legend introduced the now Mrs. Winans as his fiance to the congregants of Perfecting in October of 2021.
