There is complacency with the energy of death in our country. The ENERGY of death is the opposite of the energy of life. When death is dominant growth is stifled. Foreboding anxiety guides choices. IT caues us to live in fear. 'God has not given us the spirt of fear, but of POWER, LVE and a SOUND MIND." The level of death that plagues Ameica is not usual and the passive response form some makes it feel diabolical. It's dominace is draining, accelerated by misinformation and recalcitrant leadership. We MUST NOT accept death that could be be avoided or at leaset minimized as a norm in our society.
It is not the documenting of it that makes the numbers look inflated as some beleive. The numbers are real and frankly, they are exaggerated because the virus was not mitigated properly. I don't want to point blame. Every single person in our government dealing with this crisis is just that -- a person, trying to figure out how best to tackle a tide that keeps rising with no safety gear.
We, the people, have to demand a turn around on the management of the Coronavirus response and we can do it with our VOTE. YOU ARE NOT POWERLESS. YOUR VOTE IS YOUR VOICE. The numbers we see plastered on CNN daily are not there to raise fear or ratings or that I occasionally report to you...It is to keep a human face on the spread of this dreadful disease. The lives of the young and old who remain are being turned upside down and people need help! The emotional and psychological toll that death from Coronavirus is taking on people is tremendous. Even for me it's hard to think about and hard to report, but I remain vigiliant and dedicated to my job. There are media entities that DO NOT want to report the truth about this dreadful disease because they do not always want to fill their air waves with negative news.
THE SLICE REPORT will always keep a human face on any tragedy and tell you the truth. I understand the public wants to be relieved of this sad reality, but we will not make the ncessary progress in functioning as a crippled society by denying it. By denying the truth of the impact of COVID-19 the spiritual and moral decay in American government and some parts of the media are on display. They must take responsibility for contributing to the problem and commit to getting it right for the sake of our collective survival.
Listen to the experts, wear a mask and do the best you can to help your neighbors whose lives have been marred by the pandemic. Pick up the phone and heck on ne another.We are still all in this together. It is a problem for a leader to hand out death sentences (intentionally or not). All most Americans are doing is arguing on social media about politics. This response is just as bad. This life and death situation is NOT ABOUT POLITICS. Day by day this Cornavirus crisis is getting worse.If you do not vote for any other reason, vote because your life --all our lives-- literally depend on it.
