KAREN HUGLER CALLS OUT GIZELLE BRYANT FOR 'NOT SHARING' HER MAN WITH THE GROUP

Is Gizelle Bryant deliberately keeping Jamal Bryant away from the RHOP cast mates?

Rev. Jamal Bryant, the ex-husband/current man of Real Houswives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant might not fit into Bravo's reunion formula. He has appeared on the show, but never in the sme setting as the rest of the couples. This would perhaps not be an issue except for the cast's interest in seeing more of Mr. Bryant in person. While on their trip to Portugal Karen Hugler mentioned that Gizelle does not bring her man around the group as everyone else does. The Slice Report is bringing you this with an "Explainer" so you can catch up on the current drama. (DISCLAIMER: What do you call a previously married couplethat reunites, but has not remarried/ Boyfriend and girlfriend is not enough, while husband and wife is not what they are until they renew their vows. Any reference to "titles" is not intended to diminish the relationship status of the Bryants in any way.)
Interest in Gizelle and Rev. Bryant's relationship is causing us to revisit a popular post in The Slice about Pastor Bryant's demise years ago. He had been a chronic cheater and allegedly impregnated a teenage member of his former Maryland church, Empowerment Temple.

An excerpt from the article explains: "His supposed womanizing went overboard when he impregnated a church member said to be 17 at the time of copulation. When accusations of this affair surfaced in the Summer of 2007, church leaders asked him to step down while they initiated an investigation and awaited paternity test results." (Read the full back story here: https://newsslice.blogspot.com/2017/07/the-truth-about-gizelle-and-jamal.html) The besmirched leader was also accused of stalking a woman who was a personal trainer from New York in court but he fought the accusations and has since moved on to become a voice in politics and the pastor of the late Eddie long's megachurch in Atlanta, New Birth.
That is all in the past for Gizelle, the 51 year-old green-eyed bandit who has reunited with the father of her three daughters.
Gizelle has openly acknowledged her husband's infidelity on the reality show referring to him as a 'cheater cheater pumpkin eater" but said this season that she can not see herself with anyone else after every attempt at love she has had fizzled. Everyone close to her seems to have their reservations about the reconciliation including their teenage daughters (Adore, Angel and Grace), her father and the women in her RHOP circle. All of the cast mates would be privy to the details of the past allegations hurled at Mr. Bryant and their subsequent divorceWe learned in the last episiode that Robyn Dixon, who Gizelle claims as her "BFF" has never met Jamal. The Church has apparently forgiven the man of God and so has his ex-wife/current girlfriend so why can't everyone else move on? In the last episode Karen Hugler confronted Gizelle about keeping her man away from the group. Gizelle quickly pointed out that the reason he is not around is that he lives in Atlanta. She then caled him on Facetime, held up the cell phone so he could say hello to everyone as proof that she is not concealing her relationship from the group. Gizelle may come off like she has nothing to hide, but with the pastor's sketchy past, she may be hesitant to put him front in center. On a show where she has openly discussed every cast mate's business but her own, some may be seeking revenge.

Later on in the episode Karen said she is genuinely concerned about Gizelle getting her heart crushed again.

On Sunday's episode of Watch What Happens Live, Huger discussed her concern over Bryant's relationship with her ex-husband sayiing the phone call was a deflection to change the subject.

Hugler said, "Absolutely Gizelle was deflecting when she picked up the phone and tried to prove that Jamal was in her life by FaceTiming him," she said. "Which didn't work with me because the man lives in the phone. He's been living in the phone for a year."

Considering Karen's strained relationship with her husband Ray has been a focal point of the season and she is notorious for being private, this is the pot calling the kettle black even though Ray does appear at actual events with her. Could it be that Karen is attmpting to deflect divorce rumors? SPOILER: Karen is going to surprise her frenemies by opening up more in the next airing.

COMING UP IN THE NEXT EPIODE OF RHOP

The ladies play a prank on Wendy that leaves her screaming. Gizelle struggles with keeping Juan's impending proposal to herself. Meanwhile, Karen surprises the group with very personal details about her marriage. Ashley shocks Gizelle and Robyn with the news that she wrote a witness statement in defense of Monique.
