Pres. Donald Trump's final goodbye

Parting words and the last order of business on this historic inaugration day where Jospeh Biden was sworn in as the 46th presdent on the same steps of the US capitol where pro-Trump rioters attempted an insurrection just two weeks prior. Former President Donald Trump has left Washington, but upon departure he didn't sound like he is ready to leave the game of politics.

(The Slice): Before the inauguration, outgoing President Donald Trump left Washington  on his final flight on Air Force 1 from Joint Base Andrews. A 21-gun military salute was followed by his last speech as the POTUS. Supporters and his family-- all but his youngest son Barron were in the crowd. A one termer bismirched by scandal, Trump used a sports analogy  in his parting words saying that he and his team "left nothing on the field."  In reality he fumbled in leading the nation, leaving the next administration an unstable economy and a pandemic that has lasted for almost a year.

Number 45 exits with the lowest job approval rating of any president  in Gallup poll history -- 34%; the average is 41. Telling supporters he will be back in some form,  for now Trump will settle at his  Mar--A-Lago Resort in Palm Beach, Florida.

The now ex-U.S. leader broke a 150 year tradition, refusing to attend the inaguration of his successor and left the passing of the torch to his Vice President, Mike Pence.

In his final hours inside the White House, Pres. Trump issued over 140 commutatations and pardons, one pre-emptively for his supporter Steve Bannon. Rapper Lil Wayne and  former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick were also pardoned.
