MINNEAPOLIS, MN –  September 30, 2021 – During an exclusive pre-screening event at the Museum of the Bible, the producers of The 7 Churches of Revelation: Times of Fire were honored to host an exclusive Q&A with experts and scholars.  Footage from this event will be featured as exclusive bonus footage for the Fathom Events release of the film, arriving in theaters for 2 nights only, October 11 and 12, 2021.

Panelists who participated in this special Q&A event at Museum of the Bible include: Dr. David deSilva, Trustee’s Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Greek at Ashland Theological Seminary; Dr. Lela Gilbert, Senior Fellow of International Religious Freedom at Family Research Council and Fellow at Hudson Institute Center for Religious Freedom; Daniel Stevens, Director of The Scholars Institute; and Tim Mahoney, Founder of Thinking Man Films and Patterns of Evidence.

Documentaries exploring the mysteries of the Bible have consistently fascinated audiences and fostered compelling conversations.  The 7 Churches of Revelation: Times of Fire is a feature-length documentary following investigative filmmaker Christophe Hanauer and acclaimed global scholars as they examine the mysterious letters written to seven churches, the roots of persecution in the 1st century church, and how these messages connect to our everyday lives.
 
The 7 Churches of Revelation: Times of Fire examines the first three churches that the Apostle John addresses: Ephesus, Smyrna, and Pergamon, as well as the Island of Patmos where the book was penned. The following two films in the series will be released in 2022 and 2023 respectively and will highlight the other four churches as well as an overview of the remainder of the book.
