Texas woman Michelle Loud has gone viral in a desparate video plea to get her son back from Cora Jakes Coleman, the eldest daughter of Bishop TD Jakes. SHe posted several videos to Facebook with the hope of gettin attention to her story. Loud regrets participating in a court adoption proceeding that she described as manipulative. She sought help from the youth pastor but says she was spiritually swindled out of her son Jason instead, being made to believe that God wanted her to give birth for infertile Cora. Loud fears that her son could be in danger after news surfaced about Cora's ex-husband Richard Brandon Coleman being jailed for alllegedly molesting their adopted daughter. Cora has denied claims about the adoption through a statement from a publicist.

Winans, Sr. has wed his long time girlfriend Deneen R. Carter. Carter is a 57-year-old physical therapist and minister at Perfecting Church in Detroit, founded by Winans. Little is known about the bride publicly. The gospel legend introduced the now Mrs. Winans as his fiance to the congregants of Perfecting in October of 2021. The couple had been in a relationship for 15 years. Pastor Winans was previously married to fellow gospel singer Vicki Winans (with whom he has two sons) for 16 years before they divorced in 1995.
