Resort magnate Sheila Johnson now owns the mandarin oriental Hotel in Washington, DC. Johnson acquired the massive propoerty of 373 rooms for $140 million. The purchase is an expasnion of te billionares portfolio with includes stakes as a managing partner of te Washington Mystics, Wizards, and Capitals. The Salamander Resort and Spa Johnson opened 50 miles outside of DC in Middleburg, VA as become an escape for Washingtonians and elite travelers alike.

Winans, Sr. has wed his long time girlfriend Deneen R. Carter. Carter is a 57-year-old physical therapist and minister at Perfecting Church in Detroit, founded by Winans. Little is known about the bride publicly. The gospel legend introduced the now Mrs. Winans as his fiance to the congregants of Perfecting in October of 2021.
