Fetterman agrees to suit up to prevent government shut down. (Is he serious?)

(TSN): Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman's fashion choices have
caused a debate about the dress code at the U.S. Capitol. Fetterman has been known to ditch suits to wear hoodies and short pants to work.

Fetterman became ungulfed in controversy over professional standards and respect for the Senate when Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer relaxed the dress code.
Schumer had changed the rules to honor Fetterman's preference by allowing senators to wear what they choose. Than came the complaints.

Seeing that the issue could be further divisive Fetterman decided to wear suits. "If those jagoffs in the House stop trying to shut our government down, and fully support Ukraine, then I will save democracy by wearing a suit on the Senate floor next week," Fetterman said in a press statement last Wednesday.

The gruff tone of the statement suggests that the Pennsylvania lawmaker may not budge on his conviction to wear what he wants.

As the Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania Fetterman wore a suit while presiding over the State Senate. When he made his first appearance in Congress. Following a hospital stay where he was treated for clinical depression, he has frequently chosen to "dress down."

Considering the enormous pile of issues the nation is facing -- such as a looming government shut down, this conversation seems silly.

There were literally leaders wearing suits who supported an insurrection. What you wear does not reflect good character or make a good leader. Addressing @JohnFetterman's attire is petty compared to talking about the Farm Bill efforts he is leading.

Case in point: (which Fetterman made in a tweet): Rep. Lauren Boebert was dressed to impress when she was seen vaping during a Beetlejuice musical in Denver, CO.
