Iran's Air Strikes Against U.S. Base In Qatar Intercepted

Missiles that Iran launched toward a U.S. Air base in Qatar in retaliation to a stike from.the U.S. two days earlier were intercepted and there are no casualties.  Firing an eqaul amount of bombs that  the U.S. dropped on nuclear sites  may signal.they want to de-escalate. Pres. Donald Trump called the thwarted attack "weak" but he thanked  Iran dornprovjdingva heads up about their reaponse. The situation is being monitored for a possible regional escalation.  Iran is claiming on social.media and state run TV that their attempted  sttike was successful.


In Fordow and Natanz, the U.S. dropped 14 massive GBU‑57 bunker-busters dropped by B‑2 stealth flyers.


Satellite photos show large craters at Fordow’s ventilation shafts and tunnel entrances, with visible structural damage.


Iran and the IAEA reported no detectable increase in off-site radiation.


U.S. officials declared the strikes “severe” or “monumental” in damage; however, analysts caution it's unclear if the subterranean enrichment chambers themselves were destroyed


The Israeli military also confirmed it struck roads around Iran’s Fordo enrichment facility to obstruct access to the site. The underground site was one of those hit in Sunday’s attack by the United States on three nuclear facilities. 


“The Iranian dictator will be punished with full force for attacking the Israeli home front,” Israel’s Defense Ministry said. They attacked a prison in Tehran.
