The exchange included personal insults and accusations of obstruction. Jeffries repeatedly stated Lawler works for his Boss Donakd Trump. Lawler struck back saying, "My constituents are suffering as a result of your ridiculous ploy."
Admittesly flustered, Johnson placed blame on Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, saying Schumer’s refusal to cooperate stems from his dislike of President Donald Trump and fear of losing support from liberal New Yorkers.
“I’m so frustrated,” Johnson said. “This is beyond the pale. There are real Americans getting hurt.”
