Gospel Singer Emily Harris Succombs
buzzz worthy. . .
Gospel singer Emily Harris passed away on Friday (December 23, 2011) in Nashville, TN. Harris is most well known for being a member of the New Life Singers and the Nashville Super Choir headed by Dr. Bobby Jones. A member of the group since its inception, both her smile and signature golden tresses were like literal rays of sunshine, brightly radaiating the stage every Sunday morning for the last 30 year on BET's Bobby Jones Gospel Show. Harris, a tenor, was hard to miss as she was always on the front row singing with all her heart.
