U.S.Postal Service to unveil Dorothy Height stamp on Feb. 1

The U.S. Postal Service will kick off Black History Month with the unveiling of the Dorothy Height stamp.  A ceremony will be held at Cramdon auditorium on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC at 11:30 a.m.  The Civil Rights heroine will be the 15th black woman to be honored with a stamp as the 40th stamp in the Black Heritage Series.  

Height is known for dedicating her life to fighting for racial and gender equality.
