VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS CHAMPIONS WOMEN'S RIGHTS AROUND THE COUNTRY

American women are beginning to see the pay off of having elected the first woman to serve in the White House -- Vice President Kamala Harris. Whether you call her "Mamala," "Auntie Kam", soror, or Sister, or even "Jezebel" as a Texas pastor once did, Harris understands sisterhood and how to use her power to protect women's rights. the lies of which we have not seen in the history of American politics.  This is the value of having representation at the highest level.

From the presence of  women leading on her staff to placing women's issues high on her agenda it is obvious that she is using her role to protect and empower women in America.  Although she has no biological children of her own, it is also  evident from her policy pursuits that Mrs. Harris cares deeply for women and children. In the fight for reproductive rights, she is a strong champion for women and for women's health in general. Her mother was a doctor who worked to find the cure for cancer. The nation's first woman vice president is battle ready.

The vice president has been speaking to fellow democrats on the road non-stop in the month of July since the US Supreme Court totaled Roe v. Wade. As of this reporting, she has spoken on reproductive health in 9 cities, having visited Indianapolis Monday. In addition, she has convened multiple groups of legal and health experts at the White House on subjects ranging from maternal mortality among minority women and  The Slice News was there when she spoke to lawmakers in Richmond, Virginia on Saturday.
