VICE PRESIDENT HARRIS CHAMPIONS WOMEN'S RIGHTS AROUND THE COUNTRY
From the presence of women leading on her staff to placing women's issues high on her agenda it is obvious that she is using her role to protect and empower women in America. Although she has no biological children of her own, it is also evident from her policy pursuits that Mrs. Harris cares deeply for women and children. In the fight for reproductive rights, she is a strong champion for women and for women's health in general. Her mother was a doctor who worked to find the cure for cancer. The nation's first woman vice president is battle ready.
The vice president has been speaking to fellow democrats on the road non-stop in the month of July since the US Supreme Court totaled Roe v. Wade. As of this reporting, she has spoken on reproductive health in 9 cities, having visited Indianapolis Monday.
